Perfect Collection - Mont Blanc on brown padded bed base |
Your bed base plays a bigger role in your mattress support
than you might realize. Here at Ascot Beds & Furniture we have a range of
bases to suit every mattress.
If you are considering buying just a mattress ensure your bed
base is still solid and not squeeking.
Different types of bed bases:
910 – Single Mattress and Base
107 – Three Quarter Mattress and Base
137 – Double Mattress and Base
152 – Queen Mattress and Base
183 – King Mattress and Base
Ascot Beds and Furniture stocks all the various bed bases
and you have a choice between a brown decorators bed base and a grey decorators
bed base. All our bed bases also come standard with six legs for extra
durability and stability.
Standard bed base – Most bases are standard with different
coverings from each supplier.
Sprung bed base – The sprung foundation is used with certain
mattresses.
Heavy duty bed base – Ascot Beds & Furniture has
developed a heavy duty, reinforced bed base to be used with any mattress. It is
padded and available in grey or brown.
Storage bed base – This is a huge space saver. The bed base
is reinforced with drawers on the side for packing space.
All bed bases come with a 1 year guarantee.
Bed base size :
Single
– 91x188cm
¾ Three quarter – 107x188cm
Double – 137x188cm
Queen – 152x188cm
King – 91 x 188cm Times 2 - Solid King size base too heavy to transport and move around
inside. Therefore two single bed bases will work better.
188cm will be standard length and extra length 200cm.
We have found recently that some upstairs units of double
storey houses do not fit a queen bed
base upstairs. For that we have 76 cm bases specially made to a queen size
mattress.
For more information on bed bases please visit one of our
stores in Alberton, Boksburg or Blackheath (Randburg) and our in-store sales
staff will gladly assist you. You can also visit our website www.ascot.co.za
